Keep Calm And Carry On

So... It's Tuesday.  Not the middle of the week, not the beginning. You have a full three more days to go before the weekend. At this point realization of what your week really is going to hold for you has probably hit you. I always find that on those days when you are in the middle of the week and you have alot to do, some quotes always help. They stick in your head and you remember them when you are at the toughest part of your day, and they give that little extra boost you need to keep going.  They are like a pep talk, litterally.

So, here are some that might just interest you:

~Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true.
                                                                                                      -unknown

~A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.

~If there exists no possibility of failure, then victory is meaningless

~If you can't see the bright side of life, polish the dull side.
~Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
                                        -Winston Churchill

So, just remember some of these, and maybe those extremely hard tasks at hand will look a little less hard.

    ANWAYS,

I got the chance to watch GLEE for the very first time tonight.  I had no idea what I was in for. I knew that it had something to do with singing, but I didn't know to what extent.  And it's somewhat creepy sometimes when people just burst out into spontaneous singing. But this was AMAZING!!! They take the whole musical show to a new level!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! The singing was good, and the show actually had substance, AND it was entertaining!  I'm now kind of sad that I didn't start watching it before now.  But, now I know why so many people are self-proclaimed Gleeks.  I might even become one soon, with a few more weeks of watching this show.

HMMM......

Just some things I've noticed today:

1. It seems everyone is getting sick.  It's truly cold and flu season once again :(

2. There are only 17 more days 'til CHRISTMAS!!!

3. People are getting peppier and more antsy by the minute in anticipation of the holidays.

Well, Just hold on, the holidays will be here soon!!!!

And....It's a MONDAY!!!!!!!

MONDAY. Monday. monday.... doesn't it make you cringe?? All of the fun of your weekend shattered by this day.   JUST KIDDING! Today is a new day, a day to do anything that you left unfinished at the end of last week, to see your friends (the ones you didn't have the pleasure of seeing over the weekend), and to start new projects for the week.
Honestly, though, it can be hard to look at it that way when the weekend was WAY TOO SHORT and sleep (precious, lovely sleep) didn't come as much as you planned. But that's okay because that's what makes looking forward to NEXT weekend so prospectful.....
                               ANYWAYS,
Since it IS Monday, here are some things that might make you feel a little happier....
1.

vi·va·cious

adj \və-ˈvā-shəs also vī-\

Definition of vivacious : lively in temper, conduct, or spirit

vi·va·cious·ly adverb
vi·va·cious·ness noun
( F ound on Mirriam Webster Online)
You now know everything there is to know about the meaning of the word vivacious. Which to me is one of the best words around.  Say it a few times.  There is something just absolutely EUPHORIC about it!!!!
2. There are only 18 more days (2 hours and 56 minutes) until CHRISTMAS!!!!! and who isn't extremely excited about that???? I know I am. There is so much joy spread at this time. Plus parties, food, AND PRESENTS?????? who could resist?
 3. I found this FREAKING AMAZING link on the MSN.com homepage (it was featured today) as I was doing my daily web wandering (come on, we all do it).   It is a stocking stuffer guide for things that are totally rad (and most definitely wished for by that special someone, friend, or family member.)
So, what are you going to do now??? YOU ARE GOING TO CLICK ON THE LINK (pretty please) and see what the world of online stocking stuffer guides has for YOU (and anyone else for that matter!)

Well, See?   I told you that Monday's weren't all bad. So, until next time, or whenever... have a good rest of your Monday!!!!!!!

my FIRST post EVER!!!!

This is my very first post ever!!!  And so, I suppose I should explain what is going on here.  Honestly, I'm not even completely sure yet.  But, I always seem to find that things turn out the best when you don't exactly know how they are going to work out. Like reading a novel, watching a movie/ athletic event, or anything where you are taken into the unknown, it's just more interesting and fun to pay attention to if you don't know the ending.  So, it's really just one big adventure, without all the swinging from vines, running from oddly spherical (and large) boulders, and a little less dirt.
Hmmm.... I guess I should explain the title. For those of you whom are not French speakers, it means Life, Love, Fashion, and other vivaciousness.  These are my main topics, because those are the things that are pretty important to me.  But honestly, I'll probably end up on a bunch of different stuff. Because that's me, I tend to drift away from the main subject.  But, I believe that that is how profound discoveries and connections are made.
So, I guess you should fasten your seatbelts and hold on to something, because this should be one fun ride.... or journey.. or adventure... or if you're seriously not into metaphors- blog... And let's hope for the best along the way. And maybe, just maybe, we'll learn something... or at least make some neat connections and discoveries.
